3 Things I learned After Reading this Book
1. If you're looking to get a 360 view on how to reverse engineer how people story tell in 2016 and make real connections, read this book. 2. I thought I would hate this format but I fell in love with it. You can always judge how deep your relationship is with people by how strategic your questions are. This is a Q&A style book. It brings out all angles of Gary Vaynerchuck's perspective of management, leadership and social media. 3. Religion and rituals are the core of what we all should live by. He calls it the clouds, the why of whatever he does on a marco level. You can follow actions and tactics (ie, Twitter search and start a conversation) but all it will become is a routine. You won't get results from routines because it will become stale and boring. Gary is successful because every tactic is tied back by an emotional belief of how can I give someone more value than they give me. It's easy for me to buy (aka a lurker of his content for 1 year. Sorry Gary!) because he wants all his fans (and especially his haters) to be successful. His work starts with having people's back before they know it. Then when we are bought in, he ask for their business. He does this on Snapchat, Instagram and you name it, regardless the medium changes. This book is undervalued for what it is because I've used it to recruit and connect with people I've never knew. Funny thing is I'm not a recruiter. People buy imperfect products because the intent of the person delivering the product or service. Gary's intent with this book: how do I make my audience successful in 2016? p.s. oh yeah, Gary. You suck for changing the content in your audio book. Get that one too because you'll be blown away at how much more you get from it. The delta from the book to audio version is unreal.

    Last night I finished my first read of the audio book. A great business book that provides a great balance of delivering practical know-how and motivation. The book is great because it diverts from the traditional business books and cuts to the real life action.

    Here are my eight take-aways from my first listen of the #askgaryvee audio book:

    1. WORK HARD on YOU. Become SELF AWARE, identify and develop your natural God Given GIFTS.
    2. USE what you learned about YOU. Provide massive amounts of VALUE to the world using your unique GIFTS. In that space you are uniquely gifted, so know that few to none can do it as well as you.
    3. FOCUS ON DOING THE WORK of delivering value to the MARKET and the business OPPORTUNITIES and the MONEY will come.
    4. TRUST and BE CONFIDENT in yourself. GET STARTED TODAY and find your way to success. Do not wait or look for others to give you permission.
    5. BE A PROFESSIONAL PRACTITIONER instead of a professional student. EDUCATION WITHOUT ACTION IS SIMPLY ENTERTAINMENT.
    6. ALWAYS IN HUSTLE MODE to find that next individual that you can help with your unique gifts.
    7. enVISION life 5-10 years out and simultaneously listen to THE MARKET to align the DELIVERY of your GIFTS to the marketplace.
    8. RINSE and REPEAT – Feeling lost or confused? GO back to STEP #1.

    It is my opinion that many of the problems in America would disappear if people spent more time focused on delivering their own unique value to the marketplace instead of the things they focus on by default. If I had to sum this book up in one sentence, I’d say this: Devote the majority of every day to delivering your unique value to the marketplace and through serving others you’re life will become awesome.

    Buy this book. Read it. Do what it says. Then, keep re-reading it to catch the things you missed on the last read.

So what will you be learning from this book? how to Hustle! how to work hard but also, how to work smart using social media to grow your business, your brand and sell your products. You will also learn Gary's philosophy in life and how he does business and if you only implement one thing out of this book or Gary's message it will be something along the lines of work to your strength, work on your passion, be happy and fulfilled in life and appreciate people – these just to name a few - not bad advice no matter what you do and I think everyone can benefit from being the best person they can be. A must read book!

    I finished this book a couple days ago and wrote a review on instagram, but figured I would give the 'Zon here some love as well with some edits. So let's get into the boooooook (review). First off, I will say that this book is a must have if you want to succeed in a business in today's world. Succeed, not if you want to start a business, because in your heart, you should know whether or not you want to start a business and a book shouldn't guide you there, but rather be a guide for you to succeed. This book will not sugar coat anything you need to do. This is not a shortcut, this is not an easy fix, and most of all, this is not your standard 'how to' book.

    That being said, you could have titled this book 'business media for dummies' if that weren't already a book line. And if it weren't so condescending to its consumer base.

    Why is that? Because there are no big words here to mislead anyone, no delving into the technical language of business, no legal mumbo jumbo that can trip up so many people who may assume that's what they are getting into when picking up a business-oriented book. It is straight forward solutions to business problems. You don't need a business degree or any degree for that matter to understand this book. All you need is an open mind that the way we do business in today's world is already changing and will continue to change at a fast pace. The options are to get smart or find someone who is, because media will continue to change the way we do business. On top of all this is Gary's humor and simple and honest way of saying anything anything that needs to be said. Sure some of the information can be in big scale, but if you know how to scale it down and apply it propperly, you are half way there.

    Like any episodes of the #askgaryvee show you should know that this isn't some soft content attempt to make some money out of a book. This content is here to use, and I recommend that you use it. Hell, it even has an index to navigate the content. I couldn't get three chapters into this book without it lighting a fire under my ass. Anyone who has a business, desires to start a business, or even just want insight into how social media is influencing today's business should have this book.

    I even forced my girlfriend to watch countless Gary Vee videos and nudged her continuously to read this book. Not because I think it is some magical text that will align the planet's and make money fall from the sky, but because if you are serious about your business in this age, you need this book.

    Antes de leer este libro pensaba que Gary era un embustero, pero sin duda alguna, es alguien que sabe de lo que habla. Hay algunas partes del libro bastante irrelevantes pero otras son indispensables.
